Last week, I mentioned that I had been out of town for a few days to attend the High Point Furniture Show with several other Bloggers.
The Furniture Show was amazing in and of itself, but I think the one thing that left me breathless was the Greensboro Junior League’s Designer Showcase Home.
If you know me at all, you know I am a true-born Anglophile. It’s kinda like a Francophile – but
instead of a love of France it’s a passion for all things English. 🙂
Here I am at Ann Boleyn’s home place – Hever Castle – admiring some of the “art work” in the gardens. 🙂
My husband and I spent 11 wonderful days touring England and the Cotswolds for Christmas 2011. You can read all about that HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE . (yes, I took a lot of pics on that trip, too) 🙂
So naturally, when the shuttle bus pulled down the long, curving driveway onto the estate grounds, and came around the corner – I’m pretty sure there was an audible gasp from me.
well-known designer, and many of these designers were featuring lines of furniture and accessories which had been recently been debuted at the 2013 High Point Furniture Show.

Oh my goodness, I would have felt like I had walked into Heaven.. what a beautiful display of goods in an incredible home.. I’ve been searching foreeeevvverrrr to find who sales the blue and white ginger jars for my small shop.. someday one day hopefully I’ll find the source.. thanks so much for sharing.. looking forward to more and more and more. fondly ~lynne ~

Great tour, Barb. I’m glad you took so many pics since I forgot my camera. 🙁 I had already forgotten a lot of it, especially the details. The wall in the sunroom mimicking a koi pond was one of my favorite features.
